We're already halfway through the trip,
and the gas tank is empty.

Since there are still four events left,
it's time to do some sourcing.
Sound of Music in East L.A., a place I've visited many times.

It's a long-established store located right near the Whittier Blvd sign.

They have records, CDs, and apparel, mainly oldies.

Record Jungle is also famous in East L.A., but it had closed down and the store itself was up for sale. (What a shame.)
On the way, I found a store with a wall full of caps.

According to the staff, they moved from Downey about two years ago.

Here too, I got some great unique items.
Next, I headed to San Ford Records in Pico Rivera, a place I visited last year.

It seems to be a local hotspot, mainly for Latin, Salsa, and Cumbia records.

Then, on the way back, I stumbled upon a suspicious-looking store.

To my surprise, they had a lot of Pendleton items!

I found some great stuff here too,
and then returned to the first motel of this trip, where there were homeless people?! and prostitutes on the premises.

Next week, I plan to tackle sourcing in the Long Beach to Harbor area.
