About the Condition Display
At our store, we describe the condition of records according to the following standards:
Record Condition Ratings
- M (Mint) - Sealed or like new condition.
- NM (Near Mint) - Almost new, in excellent condition.
- EX (Excellent) - Some signs of use, but no significant impact on playback; generally clean for a used item.
- EX- (Excellent Minus) - Light scuffs, scratches with almost no impact on sound; signs of use, but playback is mostly unaffected; generally clean for a used item.
- VG+ (Very Good Plus) - Some signs of use, such as scuffs or scratches that slightly affect playback, but still playable.
- VG (Very Good) - Scuffs and scratches that affect playback, but still playable.
- VG- (Very Good Minus) - Many scuffs and scratches that affect playback, but still playable.
- G (Good) - Significant signs of use, with potential for cracks, skips, or noise.
